Tommy Thompson Trail
Took advantage of the last sunny day for a while to walk from 34th Street to March's Point Road and back. This is an easy, flat walk that is always pleasant as long as the wind isn't blowing too hard.
North of Weavering Spit and the RV park there were good views of Mount Baker.

Heart Lake in January
Before the rain started later Saturday morning, I found these three Cormorants at Heart Lake. The trails along the north and west sides of the lake are still muddy at spots, but nothing you can't negotiate in an old pair of tennis shoes.
